Barbara Scavotto-Earley is a
visual artist who works in clay and steel sculpture and occasionally,
mixed media assemblage. In 1950 she was born in Springfield, MA
into the loving Italian family of Louis and Carmelina Scavotto and their
all-embracing family trees. She was raised in the historic mill town of
Thompsonville in northern CT, home of the former Bigelow-Sanford Carpet

gathering with family and friends for parties and celebrations and
yearning to learn and discover. Scavotto is the middle child of three

and Janet and their families. She considers her twins, Ryan and Angela to be her
greatest masterpieces. Scavotto lives and works in a quiet peaceful
